The Fresno Grizzlies Minor League Baseball team aspired to enhance their fans' game-day experience, particularly focusing on engaging their younger audience. Their vision included a rooftop deck space featuring a splash pad, shaded areas, and an engaging, branded play zone tailored for kids. However, the complexity arose from the project’s rooftop location, over 30 feet above the field. Additionally, the Grizzlies sought an unparalleled branding experience centered around their ferocious mascot, ensuring a personal connection for every fan.

In collaboration with Generator Studio and Grizzlies management, Landrec engineered a
vertical plumbing system for the splash pad and utilized lightweight yet durable materials for the play area to solve for the location on the rooftop. Our design team meticulously crafted a larger-than-life mascot, detailed and modeled for optimal impact. Leveraging technology, we integrated a sensor system, allowing fans to interact with the 8-foot-tall bear mascot through speakers which responded with fun responses and catchphrases.

The Fresno Grizzlies' brand received a significant boost, with this project enriching the game-day experience for attending children and adults and creating memories that resonate long after the games end.
